Greetings on this beautiful Monday from the Outer Banks also known at “May Day.”
On this beautiful Monday we bring you a beautiful sunrise on the Outer Banks in Nags Head from a recent Outer Banks Blue vacationer who rented from us in Nags Head last summer.
It is indeed officially May as it is the 1st of the month! We looked it up this morning and found that this day used to be celebrated as a holiday in the Northern Hemisphere to mark the arrival of spring. Traditions included lots of dancing, the use of the May pole, and the crowing of the May Day Queen!
Well we will let you get on with your own celebration today and hope this warm and beautiful May Day weather is making you think of a great Outer Banks family vacation.
